90-day prescriptions
may be right for you

Save time and hassle with 90-day refills

If you have a prescription that you refill each month, consider asking your doctor to switch you to a 90-day prescription. It could turn 12 trips a year to the pharmacy into four, which means less driving, less standing in line, and fewer errands.

New prescriptions

If your doctor recently prescribed a new medication, it was likely for 30 days or less. Those first few weeks are the time to ensure that the medication is a good choice for you and no adjustments need to be made. Once you and your doctor feel good about how the medication is working for you, that’s a great time to request that they adjust the prescription to 90 days.

Stay stocked up and don’t miss doses

If you’ve already read the article about medication adherence, you know how important it is to not miss doses. With a 90-day prescription, there’s less chance you’ll run out of medication — especially if you also sign up for an automatic refill program with your pharmacy.

Want to switch to 90-day prescriptions? Be your own advocate. Ask your doctor during your next appointment or reach out to them today by calling the office or using your online patient portal.
