Alaska Large Group Networks
Connexus Network
The Connexus Network includes all hospitals, physicians, clinics and additional providers statewide, making it easy for your clients to get care and maximize their benefits. With the Connexus Network, your clients get:
- In-network access to all providers across Alaska
- Both Providence and Alaska Regional Hospitals in Anchorage are included at the in-network level
- Access to Connexus Network providers in Oregon, Idaho and SW Washington
- Nationwide in-network access through the Aetna PPO Network (ASA), except SW Washington. This includes areas outside Connexus in Oregon and Idaho
Moda Select Network
For large group employers, the Moda Select Network offers a flexible, three-tier design that balances cost savings with broad provider choice. Employees can choose high-value Tier I providers for the lowest out-of-pocket costs, while still having access to additional providers through Tier II. This structure helps employers control health plan costs while supporting better outcomes and member satisfaction.
When traveling outside of Alaska, Moda Select members receive in-network benefits through:
- Moda Select service areas in Idaho and Texas
- Affinity Network service area in Oregon
- Aetna PPO Network through Aetna Signature Administrators nationwide (including areas outside Moda Select in Idaho and Texas, and outside Affinity in Oregon)
Employer eligibility
- Employers must be headquartered in the Alaska Moda Select service area, and all employees must reside in that service area
- For groups with employees living outside the Alaska Moda Select service area, Moda Select can be paired with a Connexus plan to provide the seamless network coverage
