Moda Select Network
The Moda Select Network is designed to give your clients more choice, better value and trusted care across Alaska. With its three-tier structure, members can lower their costs by choosing Tier 1 providers, while still having access to the First Choice Network at Tier II. Tier III remains available for out-of-network care.
The Moda Select Network is for your small group clients with business locations and all employees residing in this service area:
- Municipality of Anchorage
- Fairbanks North Star
- Haines
- Kenai Peninsula
- Ketchikan Gateway
- Mat-Su
- Petersburg and Municipality of Skagway boroughs
- City and Borough of Juneau
- City and Borough of Sitka
- City and Borough of Wrangell
- Hoonah-Angoon Census Area
- Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area
This three-tier network helps employers manage costs while giving employees control over where they receive care.
- Tier I: Lowest cost for care with Tier I providers
- Tier II: Access to the First Choice Network in Alaska
- Tier III: Out of network, with the highest cost to members
National and regional network access
When members are outside of Alaska, they’ll have in-network benefits through:
- Moda Select service areas in Idaho and Texas
- Affinity Network service area in Oregon
- Aetna PPO Network through Aetna Signature Administrators nationwide (including areas outside Moda Select in Idaho and Texas, outside Affinity in Oregon)
