Credentialing criteria
Only high-quality providers are included in Moda Health networks. This is achieved through our credentialing and recredentialing processes. We also monitor and analyze member feedback relating to network access using member surveys. This helps give focus to our network improvement efforts.
In-network care offers better value
Your employees get a better benefit and can save money by seeing in-network providers. These providers offer quality care and services to our members at an agreed-upon cost. Care from out-of-network providers may be subject to "balance billing," which is the difference between what the plan allows providers to bill and the providers' standard billed charges. Your employees would be responsible for paying the difference. In-network providers don't do this.
