COVID-19 Medicare Supplement plan member benefits update
The COVID-19 National Emergency and Public Health Emergency declarations ended on May 11, 2023. Coverage of COVID-19-related services has changed, effective for dates of service on or after May 12, 2023:
- Members can get vaccinated for COVID-19 at no cost.
- Cost-sharing is waived for COVID-19 testing for laboratory-conducted COVID-19 tests when ordered by a provider.
