If you are not getting Extra Help and would like to see if you qualify, you can call:

- Your state Medicaid office
- 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). TTY users, call 1-877-486-2048.
If you received Extra Help in 2018, you may receive a letter from Medicare or the Social Security Administration about your eligibility for Extra Help in 2019. Please read this information carefully. If you do not know what level of Extra Help you qualify for, you can call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). TTY users, call 1-877-486-2048.

“Best available evidence” is information used to support eligibility for low-income subsidy, also known as Extra Help. If you are not currently receiving Extra Help, but think you may be eligible, please call us at 888-786-7509 (TTY users, dial 711) for help.
