Enrollment periods
In Alaska and Texas, open enrollment for individual and family coverage will begin Nov. 1, 2026 and ends Jan. 15, 2027. Applications received from Nov. 1, 2026 through Dec. 15, 2026, coverage will begin on Jan. 1, 2027. For applications received Dec. 16, 2026 through Jan. 15, 2027 coverage begins Feb. 1, 2027.
In Idaho, open enrollment for Individual and family coverage will begin Oct. 15, 2026 and ends Dec. 15, 2026. Coverage will begin Jan. 1, 2027.
In Oregon, open enrollment for individual and family coverage will begin Nov. 1, 2026 and ends Jan. 15, 2027. Applications received Nov. 1, 2026 through Dec. 31, 2026, coverage will begin on Jan. 1, 2027. For applications received Jan. 1, 2027 through Jan. 15, 2027, coverage will begin on Feb. 1, 2027.
In order to ensure there is not a delay in enrollment, receipt of ID cards or your and your families ability to utilize your insurance plan on January 1st, we highly recommend completing your enrollment by Dec. 15, 2026 for Jan. 1, 2027 coverage.
Outside of Open Enrollment, you may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you experience a qualifying life event, such as losing health coverage, getting married, having or adopting a child, or moving to a new service area.
